Hanoi
Hanoi, one of the world's oldest capitals, offers well-preserved colonial buildings, ancient pagodas, and unique museums. Known for its incredible cuisine, vibrant nightlife, and diverse influences, it's a perfect city for exploring on foot.
Pu Luong
One glance at the Pu Luong Nature Reserve and you’ll see why the local people made this enchanting valley their home long ago. The slow pace in Pu Luong is a striking contrast to life in the capital just a few hours away. Endless mountains, fertile valleys and pristine jungle are just a few good reasons to visit.
Lan Ha Bay
Lan Ha Bay, near Cat Ba Island, is a serene paradise with over 300 karst islands and emerald waters. Less crowded than Ha Long Bay, it offers hidden beaches, kayaking, rock climbing, and tranquil floating fishing villages.
Phong Nha National Park
Colossal caves may be the main draw, but linger a little longer and Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park will reveal hiking trails, countryside lanes, and rivers perfect for kayaking. Although this is Vietnam’s top adventure destination, Phong Nha is still in the early stages of development.
Hoi An
Graceful, historic Hoi An is Vietnam’s most atmospheric and delightful town. Once a major port, it boasts the grand architecture and beguiling riverside setting that befits its heritage, and the 21st-century curses of traffic and pollution are almost entirely absent.
Phu Quoc
Phu Quoc is a stunning island with white-sand beaches and lush tropical jungle. Once a sleepy backwater, it's now a top beach destination. Explore beyond the resorts, dive reefs, kayak bays and feast on amazingly fresh seafood or simply kick back on the beach.
