The Pig near Bath

There could hardly be a more enticing name for a restaurant with rooms. The Pig near Bath hotel is a sister property to a much-squealed-about litter of boutique stays (which started with The Pig) hailing from Hampshire. This third little piggy is a grand and succulent offering from the group: a honey-walled country house set in acres of Somerset deer park, with a bountiful kitchen garden where much of the scrumptious food is grown.

The Pig near Bath is a boutique hotel set in some of Somerset's finest woodland, conveniently close to Bath and Bristol.

Snug

A two night minimum stay is required at weekends. Located in the main house or coach house, these cosy rooms are decorated in soothing, neutral tones, with crisp white linens, bare antique wood floors and bright plush cushions. There’s a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in rainfall shower. The rooms have views over the paddock and Mendip hills. The larder is stocked with snacks, drinks and a Nespresso machine. There’s also free WiFi, a flatscreen TV, DVD player, tea-making facilities and Bramley bath products.

Comfy

A two night minimum stay is required at weekends. These larger rooms have views over the deer park or the paddock and Mendip Hills beyond. Bare antique floorboards, a neutral colour palette and botanical illustrations on the walls give the rooms rustic-chic flair. There’s a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in rainfall shower and a larder stocked with snacks, drinks and a Nespresso machine. There’s also free WiFi, a flatscreen TV, DVD player, tea-making facilities and Bramley bath products. Three of these rooms can interconnect on request.
