Shamwari Bayethe Lodge

Shamwari Bayethe Lodge is our favourite tented style lodge in the renowned Shamwari Private Game Reserve - home to South Africa's wonderful Born Free Foundation. Set amidst lush surroundings, it offers elegant tented accommodation with private plunge pools and panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. Game drives and walking safaris are with excellent guides, with chances of seeing the Big Five and plenty more. There is also a spa and beautiful living areas, and an excellent team, serving gourmet cuisine. It provides a tranquil retreat in the heart of the African bushveld.

Cancellation Policy

We charge a non-refundable deposit and you can change your travel dates for free up to one week before your trip, which is when your balance is due. Our post-booking services are industry leading and your deposit is to ensure we can offer you the support you deserve, every step of the way. Expect 24/7 access to our team of Travel Experts, a slick concierge app, and VIP treatment on arrival.
