Hip maximalist Dorothée Mellichzon has brought Gallic elegance and the neighbourhood’s neoclassical grandeur to interiors; a pair of eccentric drink historians have reincarnated the townhouses’ colourful former residents in cocktail form; and for the kitchen they’ve nabbed the Tyrrhenian taste makers of Italian Supper Club. Little Covent Garden - Classic Room

This 17sq m room, set in a separate building, bears the hallmarks of designer Dorothée Meilichzon’s inimitable style, with shades of navy and coral and curvaceous lines. Covent Garden - Superior Room

French designer Dorothée Meilichzon took inspiration from the nearby market buildings to design these chic rooms, which have curvaceous headboards and a dramatic colour palette. There’s a king-size bed, small seating area and a bathroom with twin sinks and a shower big enough for two. There’s a sizeable lounge area with a sofa bed for one extra guest and the minibar has handmade drinks from the Experimental Cocktail Club drinks. Designer Dorothée Meilichzon’s eye for colour and shape is evident in this elegant top-floor room, which – true to its name – looks out over London’s rooftops to the titular ferris wheel.
