Fukuchi-in Temple

Welcome to the Fukuchi-in, a "shukubo" or Buddhist Temple for travellers who wish to stay on and visit Mount Koya. This large, beautiful temple has 70 Japanese-style rooms and both indoor and outdoor baths for the guests. Fukuchi-in serves "shojin" cuisine which is traditional Buddhist vegetarian cuisine. A true, authentic experience to be remembered.

We charge a non-refundable deposit and you can change your travel dates for free up to one week before your trip, which is when your balance is due.
