Euphoria Retreat

Nestled in the pine-clad hills of the Peloponnese peninsula, wellness-oriented Euphoria Retreat delivers world-class spa therapies amid a mythical landscape. This holistic wellness retreat is within walking distance of the fortified town of Mystras, the ruined second city of the Byzantine Empire. Providing a link with old-world Greece, these cultural roots have been woven into the hotel’s fabric, with domed ceilings, ancient patterns and rich, earthy colours adding a classical finish to the otherwise modern design scheme. Each of these 35-49sq m rooms is modern and minimalist in design, but nods to Mystras’ Byzantine heritage with its rich fabrics and colour scheme. Each has a hardwood or marble floor, a king-size bed (twins are available on request), an elegant seating area and an ensuite bathroom with a curved walk-in shower. Floor-to-ceiling windows lead onto a private terrace, which has views of the village or surrounding forest. This grand two-bedroom suite is in the highest part of the hotel, and has a private terrace with sweeping views that stretch to the village, castle and pine forest.
