Erosantorini

A two-acre estate with a whitewashed villa at its heart, Erosantorini in Greece is a four-room clifftop hideaway with impeccable service and volcano views. While you lounge in the infinity pool, gazing at the Aegean from your secluded spot on Santorini, it’s easy to imagine it’s not a hotel at all, but your fanciest friends’ island home. You can even book the entire place to yourself, so let your imagination run riot.

You’ll find Erosantorini in the south of the island, on a steep hillside overlooking the Aegean, a mile from Santorini’s capital, Fira.

Split-Level Suite with Whirlpool and Caldera View

This open-plan suite, spread over two floors, has a 45sq m roof terrace with a Jacuzzi and outdoor shower as well as a shaded living area, all overlooking the volcano’s caldera and the Aegean beyond. Back inside, the double bed in the upstairs bedroom sleeps up to two adults, and there’s a cave-inspired ensuite bathroom with a bathtub.

Family Two-Bedroom Suite with Pool and Caldera View

Next to the spa, this suite’s two bedrooms can be kitted out with double or twin beds as needed. There’s a 97sq m private terrace with a shaded living area and a private backyard with day-beds, as well as a 7m heated pool. The suite, which can sleep up to four adults, has two ensuite bathrooms – each with a shower – and overlooks the volcano’s caldera. One baby cot (free) can be added to this room on request.

This 30sq m open-plan suite sleeps up to two adults in its double bed, and has views of the volcano’s caldera. The large private terrace has a Jacuzzi and outdoor shower as well as a shaded living area; there’s a private backyard with a day-bed, too. In the marble bathroom with its underfloor heating, you’ll find a walk-in rainfall shower. One baby cot (free) can be added to this room on request.

Honeymoon Spa Suite with Whirlpool and Caldera View

This spacious (95sq m) sea-view suite has a large private terrace with a Jacuzzi, alfresco shower and day-bed. There’s a lounge area with built-in bench seating and a floating fireplace. The suite has a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and marble hammam.

Erosantorini Estate

This clifftop hideaway has views over Santorini’s caldera. Each of the five suites has a private Aegean-view terrace with a plunge pool and sunloungers. The main infinity pool is set over three levels, and the pool terrace is dotted with day-beds and loungers; there’s an Aegean-view cave-like lounge, wellness terrace and a fire pit, too. The alfresco kitchen and dining area have sunset views and there’s a cosy indoor lounge area.The Estate can sleep up to 10 guests, but for those staying in May and October occupancy drops to eight as one of the suites is converted into an indoor-outdoor living area.
