Downtown Mexico

Sprawling across the top two floors of a magnificent 17th-century palace, Downtown boasts a real sense of the area's Colonial history. Ornate stonework, red volcanic rock walls, and hand-made clay floor tiles are paired with geometric prints and industrialist concrete décor, a real delight for design-oriented travellers. After a day exploring the city, take to the rooftop for a dip in the pool and gaze across the domed skyline beyond.

N.B: It is worth noting that the design of this historic hotel means not all rooms have windows, some have dutch doors opening to let a cooling breeze run through.
